Outside of BiS, your meld priority should be piety to comfort (if needed) > sps if you want to hit a certain GCD tier > crit > det/dh > sps. That said, the difference between meld setups is so small overall that you could opt for det over crit, or take more spell speed than usual if that's what you're more comfortable with during prog. The raw effect of the stats is quite insignificant as long as you're melding something that you're going to make use of.

2 options from what I know.
- Sell through retainer on Market board.
- Go to an NPC that sells things. Open inventory. Right click item, and sell.
9 times out 10, Market board will profit you more, but depending on the item. It may take a while to sell.

Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.
