If you both started in Ul'dah/Gridania, then as soon as you're allowed to leave your starting city. Just... watch out for the mobs...
If one of you started in Limsa Lominsa, then one of you needs to omplete the Lvl 15 MSQ first

The only time pulling gets kitschy is in ARR dungeons, when no one really has as much of the kits they need to deal with packs. DPS get AoEs in general really late, with one or two exceptions; Tanks don't have a whole lot of their mitigation kit; and healers are missing a lot of their non-GCD resources. So mass pulling around there makes things weird.

i started playing dancer, she also is lv63 by now but i didnt figure out yet why the fan gauge has 4 slots, even in upcomming skills i couldnt see why i should have more than 1.. unless the 'fourfold fan dance' later on fully stacks it so i just have 'bonus' dmg of 4 instants

shielding stopping knockback is a mixed answer. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

Difficulty is relative. Most mechanics are "do correctly or die", but otherwise there's not much damage, especially with many people having tank stacks. There's no DPS check either.
I've anecdotally heard that not many people do Bozja in general. I don't.

I have a couple of questions about dungeons. I'm still in ARR and basically around level 30 MSQ-wise. In pretty much every dungeon I've done there's been boss mechanics but people just ignore them, like Sastasha, you can interact with the bubbles to stop adds spawning but if everyone stays on the boss it'll die before then anyway.
At what point does that change?
Also, I'm sure there's websites with guides but is there anything in the game itself to explain these kind of mechanics? Like WoW's Adventure Guide which gives an overview of boss abilities.

Theres nothing in game, they expect you to learn it by doing.

Thing is, thru powercreep and overall changes in classes the earlygame content often skips mechanics cus u can just easily live thru it. However, as Vis stated, later on doing mechanics is required

mostly because leveling dungeons are so outgeared you can kill the boss before any of those ignored mechanics have time to fuck you up

the encounter design changes a lot as you reach the expansions as well

most interact-with-a-thing things get removed in favor of uptime and it shifts more towards telegraphed aoes, adds, stack markers, tethers etc
