The reason there's a faq for leveling Black Mage is that, due to the way the BLM kit adjusts and evolves as abilities are added, the way you play the class changes drastically every ten levels until about level 60, where it starts to smooth out and become more consistent.
Dragoon doesn't have this issue, so there's no faq for it afaik.

If they're stabled at your FC house, then you'd go to the FC house
If they're stabled at your individual apartments, you'd need to go to the stables at your specific buildings.
I'm not sure if you can train chocobos at a stable where you don't have residency though (either via owning an apartment in that building, or by being in the FC that owns the house). I've never tried that.
A chocobo is only in one stable at a time. If you put them in your apartment building's stable, they won't be in your FC's stable and vice versa.

If your FC doesn't have a house, then you should be able to stable them in your individual apartment buildings' stables. From there, you'd need to go to the specific apartment building where each of you has your chocobos stabled, and train them there.
So if your apartment is in Lavender Beds 3, and you've stabled your chocobo there, your friend would have to visit your apartment building in Lavender Beds 3. They couldn't go to Lavender Beds 1 or Mist 10 or whatever.
Because stables don't share lists, or pull from friends lists.
It's like putting your chocobo into storage.
And as I mentioned earlier, I'm not entirely sure if you can train chocobos in a stable where you don't have residency in the building.

@lament pilot You're at the top. You need to get to the bottom to start Heavensward. The Yellow Number is where you'll be stopped if you haven't beaten the Hard Mode Primal fights. The Red number is where you'll be stopped if you haven't done the Crystal Tower Alliance Raids.

Also, these sort of requirements only appear in ARR. You wont have to do anything else along those lines (unless Im missing something) in the future beyond this

weird, at some points I had trouble fighting things 6 levels above me due to the accuracy penalty and at some point I was able to solo things nearly 10 levels above me (albeit with difficulty)
