The first time you clear a Savage floor per week, you are able to roll on the loot drop from it. Even if you do not get any loot from that floor that week, you will not be able to roll for loot for any subsequent clears. You will also get one guaranteed book from that floor directly added to your inventory for your first clear. Additionally, if you enter a higher floor without first clearing the preceding floor that week (so for example if you enter p2s without clearing p1s that week), you automatically forfeit your loot roll for all preceding floors.
If no one in the party has cleared that floor that week, two chests will spawn. If one person out of the eight has cleared that floor already that week, only one chest will spawn. If five people of the eight have cleared it already, no chests will spawn.

In Balance, for AST, it puts a list of macros, with the disclaimer that they are not optimal, but the firs in the PS4 controller macros list is one to map each party member to a button in the controller, so use of card is fast.
Is that macro not optimal to use as the others? Cause it always takes some time to press up/down to choose a player to use the card on (not like more than 1 second, but still it takes time if i wanna weave 2 actions)

HW's and Job Quest Spoilers but I really love Ishgard and find it interesting asf so allow me to geek out.
||Ishgard has this issue in which they're specialized in specifically dragon killing to a crippling degree. Their fortification is meant for defense and not much else, ignoring basic needs like housing and such until post-HW's their Astrology is specific to only tracking dragon movement compared to Sharlyan Astrology which is an entire school of magic used for healing and though they probably still do trade, much of the citizens of Ishgard know jack of the ongoings of Eorzea prior to HW's.
Ever since the Calamity the entire region is covered in ceaseless snow which many were not prepare for resulting in much of the homeless left to freeze and die on the streets, the outer walls get destroyed so often and rebuilt people wonder if it's even worth it to reconstruct since it's all going to get destroyed anyway.
And despite all these shortcomings Ishgard is a slave to tradition. As the aforementioned Astrology, they find Sharlyan Astrology as blasphemous as anything OTHER than tracking dragon movement and despite it's numerous upsides and in the MCH questline reject fucking guns and the other cool as tech the Skysteel Manufactory make like a turret, an automatic crossbow and a freaking bazooka that shoots a drill cause they fear the commonfolk being equal to nobility with one and are obsessed with the fact "our ancestors killed dragons with swords and spears and arrows so that's the proper way".
All in all Ishgard has the potential to be quite powerful but the funny enough their whole dragon-shtick they take so much pride in has also kneecapped the entire nation from ever growing past that.||

You can meld whatever you like before 90. Some materia is dirt cheap (200gil or less) so you can throw it in gear if you want. It doesn't make that big of a difference before max level.
If you use "extract materia" on a piece of your equipped gear with 100% spiritbond, you get a piece of materia completely free and can experiment with the system.
Which stat you pick is usually not a big deal unless you're trying to min/max
If you have a crafting skill levelled, you can meld materia for free, otherwise there's a small charge from the NPC or you can get it done by another player.
For 90/Extreme/Savage though, I recommend putting top tier (X or IX) materia in all of your slots and fully pentamelding if possible

There are more then 30trials and savage where’s the fun when I play only 10 of them Nd I one shot the others. Yes is just a personal challenge that’s true, on ruby p1 she died before the sand mulinex and p2 before the meteor so is just a dps check😂
