you can use the "HUD Layout" option under System to play around with it - and even resize elements

Like, if you feel the bottom half of your screen is too cluttered, you can consider making your hotbars smaller, splitting them into separate hotbars, moving your inventory/XP/menu buttons/Gil elsewhere

If you're having to look too far down for abilities on your first hotbar, you could swap the bar's location with hotbar 2...

If you need more room, you can shrink the minimap and quest log...

Personally, one of the biggest changes I make to my UI is to move the party list closer to the middle, and put the focus target bar between the party list and my ability bars and enlarge it to 180% so I can see it better.

i would suggest 1 botanist, 1 miner and 2 combat retainers personally. that said though, retainers can only go as high as you are in those classes (and gathering retainers can only gather what you personally have gathered at least once) so if you don't have bot/min leveled there's no point in making them either

bot/min retainers lets you be lazy and do other things while they gather mats for you, combat retainers are quite nice since they can gather mob drops

I am not a fisherwoman perse and the bait stuff that over runs my inventory space, and all the fish that has been left over is still there drives me crazy. However, even though I don't understand bait, fresh water to river, to ocean, I love the quests and the story line. I finished Stormblood but I can not find ShB quests. Please tell me there are more quests for the fisherman guild, and that we are going to get an endless tacklebox that we can sit on. Thank you.

While logs from older content exist, it is not as meaningful as it seems to make comparisons even if you go min ilvl because the jobs themselves are different from expansions to expansions

Yeah Min ilevel is fine for a challenge, but not "meaningful for damage comparisons to people at the time by doing it now" because no matter how min you get it'll not be close to "What it was like on content"

Is it faster to level my crafters through levequests or collectibles, if I am going around collecting everything myself?

If I may, if equally skilled players do the same content (old or new) at min ilvl, then whoever with better RNG on their mechanics and RNG with their crits will win, but that doesn't mean other equally skilled players are less skilled. XIV jobs rotation doesn't offer a lot of self expression by the players

and technically you don't have to use collectables it kinda depends on where you are with your crafters before you start leves, I did all my crafters in one day with 98leves, but they were at 82-84 from GC turn ins and customs

GC deliveries are never nerfed, they're always worth doing
