Enmity is purely based on damage dealt. The "tank stance" skill for each tank class multiplies that enmity by a factor of ten.

yes that's roughly how it works, only base carbuncle is your summon, and you temporarily summon other summons to do big attacks and change some buttons for you, and yes you can glamour egis and base carbuncle into other carbuncle or egis

I guess more specifically, to give you a ping with a consolidated answer:
Every two hours, the special Firmament Fates - named "fêtes" in game - last for half an hour, and contain a small sequence of minigames with rewards. This happens twelve times, over the span of a day. The fêtes then don't appear for 60 hours (2.5 days), and then the cycle repeats. These minigames can be anything from delivering presents to interacting with animals to mirroring emotes... super simple stuff.
