So far, none of the other relic weapon sets have had catch-up elements added to them. SE updated drop rates for the ShB relic items while it was current, but now that we're in EW, it's basically only useful as a glamour item, so ... that grind is now viewed as optional. So if you want to do it, just work on it in manageable bits at a time.

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

How to unlock a retainer
