If one is using tank stance I wouldn't bother complaining if they are actually picking up all the mobs. Having both tanks use it can be nice I suppose just so all the mobs are almost certainly focused on tanks

Like the instance started with 1 tank with stance on, so the second one didn't turned it on. However the tank with the stance wasnt doing their job super well ( Not using AoE skils ) and 1 or 2 enemies were focusing on DPS. So the healer started to say to both tanks to pick up their slack because of it. The non stance tank said he wasn't on stance because he didn't want to fight for aggro and didn't turned it on. But then he started saying that its castrum and its the both tanks jobs to use tank stance at the same time.

my personal experience as GNB, there were many times where i wanted to let the other tank as MT but the aggro went to me instead

usually i don't want to be MT if i saw the other tank's profile having a lot of max leveled jobs

i'm a casual player, only 2 maxed tank, 1 melee dps, 1 magic dps, 1 ranged dps, 1 free healer (free SCH from SMN)

so i figured if the other tank has more maxed jobs, i'll let them do MT

then i don't turn on my stance unless there are adds

or somehow the MT dies

In my experience, GNB should be a MT job, due to offtank duty negates alot of your damage potential

MT dont have more responsiblities, just different responsibilities

Saying I dont know much about the game so I let the other guy MT is pretty incorrect imo, since ya know, the MT's focus is on 1 boss, and the OT's focus is on all the rest of the mechanic affecting the group

hmm but my worry if i MT, is when there are mechanics where we have to help everyone else come to stand at the correct area

say there are only 3 safe spots for a particular mechanic, then i have to correctly bring the boss to either of these 3 spots. so the other melee dps can move while attacking

cause i'll be hit by the attack, boss is at the wrong spot, melee dps at the correct spot but unable to attack

Also ... this is MSQ Castrum, so there's no aggro functionally worth fighting over

if you're worried about spinning the maybe one and three quarter boss enemies, then just stand next to the other tank, who cares

heck, there's a whole section where the aggro literally does not matter because Mounted!Livia will just shoot whoever shot her last with the missle launcher for a bit

With crafters you want to level all of them at the same time really because they all use materials that the others make

For example making a weaver top might require leather from leatherworker, alchemist chemicals, and maybe precious metals from goldsmith as well as cloth from weaver

It also saves equipment space since all your crafters are using the same gear

As Kat mentioned, it's entirely possible to do entire dungeons without using a gcd heal, so you'd never see a cast bar. But it's different if the tank is actually not getting heals at all.
