the current gear levels aren't massively different than 80 cap, you're still gonna have to do most mechanics, maybe BiS of this tier, but more likely next tier, you'll start seeing easier time for unsynced content

Flying is unlocked in A Realm Reborn zones simply by completing the level 50 story quest 'The Ultimate Weapon'.

Stats and Melding Priorities

Prioritize highest Item Level (ilvl) first (some exceptions apply). Higher ilvl gives more Primary Stats (Strength and Vitality for RPR). More Strength is almost always worth more than any other stat (besides Weapon Damage, which you also get more of for higher ilvls, meaning you never will need to chose between more Strength or more Weapon Damage. They come hand-in-hand). Vitality gives you a higher HP pool, which means you will be able to survive more easily.

CRIT > DH=Det pulls ahead of DH=DET > CRIT around ilvl 580+. This means going forward CRIT > DH=DET is the meld priority.

What does Endwalker job balance look like now?

We cannot meaningfully discuss or draw major conclusions about Endwalker job balance for a number of reasons:

1. The currently available gear is too limited/inconsistent, and future gear’s mainstat/substat distribution may affect balance.

2. Patch 6.05 will likely hold extensive job changes, just like 5.05 did (see: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/b6083dbda4e9497698b64163ffc8cee52472b81a)

3. The current sample size of recorded runs and quality of data is not sufficient to eliminate variance in player skill, equipment, party composition, killtime and limited encounter design.

4. While basic rotations have been theorycrafted and simulated, optimal rotations are dependent on encounter design and party makeup. Some have yet to be discovered. These are all things that influence job balance, and can change with Savage even if current potencies remain.

5. Preliminary data is often misinterpreted and spread, causing more in harm than good.

Job balance is better left for approximately 1 month after Savage release, since there are more recorded runs, better gearing options + BiS sets, and fight designs are known.

Any current definite claims about job balance are at worst clickbait or pure speculation, and at best educated guesstimates that are subject to change as available information changes.

Chocobos won't make kills that much faster, so no-- putting SP in attacker isn't necessary. If you really want to grind your chocobo, I'd suggest: (1) putting them in a clean stable and feeding them treats for EXP (which is capped by time) and (2) grinding FATEs with them.

Ah, gotcha. Then you have to grind it out. That said, I wouldn't recommend it. I love Sushibo, but past a certain point, the amount of EXP needed to level your 'bo gets ridiculous... so I just let it accumulate naturally by having Sushibo around 24/7.

You can unlock the ability to have your chocobo also be an overworld party member and fight alongside you when you reach level 30 and have completed the quest My Feisty Little Chocobo . What trees do spec into for my chocobo?
The typically recommended chocobo skill point allocation is to get 4 ranks into the healing tree for choco cure, followed by maxing out the DPS tree. The tank tree does not allow your chicken to gain enough enmity to surpass your own output, so its shelved for last. You can eventually max out every tree, though to level your chocobo past rank 10 you will need Thavnairian Onions

Loot Rules: Following each weekly reset, every player has a chance to obtain loot from the Savage encounters of the current raid tier. Upon clearing each floor, you will obtain 1 book specific to that fight (e.g. Book of Anamorphosis) and a chance to roll on the loot from that floor. Regardless of if you obtained loot from your weekly clear, you will be barred from rolling on loot from the same encounter until the next weekly reset.

Entering an encounter before clearing the previous floor(s) will relinquish all rewards from previously uncleared floors. (e.g. Entering E12S before clearing E9S for the week will relinquish loot from E9S, E10S, and E11S.) You will lose a chance to earn a book and your chance to roll on any loot that drops that week.
