But note that the zones all drop different memories. The bottom part (the first zone) drops Tortured memories, the middle part (second zone) drops Haunted Memories, and the top part (third zone) drops Harrowing Memories.
It may be better for you to simply grind mettle and get to the last zone before you start farming them in earnest.
