If you mean gshade/reshade, it can, but there are many filters you can enable and disable. So if a preset is having an effect on your performance you can tweak and disable specific functions. Color adjustment by itself usually doesn't have that effect.

I separated em like this, 1-6 are usually single target heals, stuff that requires me to click allies(i put Icarus there since i had free space so may aswell)
CTRL 1-6 are enemy targetted abilities
F1-F4 are buffs and other random stuff, Mouse 5 and Mouse 4 are skills that are bound to my mouse thumb buttons for ease of access
Shift 1-6 are usually AoE heals, stuff that i can get away with with not clicking to heal my allies
Alt 1-Alt 6 are abilities that i only need to press under certain circumstances(Sleep is just there cuz may aswell lmao)
the rest is keys, i got R for Eukrasia since its ease of access, F for Pneuma since it is a powerful heal, G for Esuna, T for Addersgall+1 and X for mitigation there, basically stuff that i cant categorize goes to the keys
