Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

What’s the most efficient solo EXP grind to cap?
MSQ basically guarantees a class to 90 if you stick with it. This is how I got PLD to 90 in like 1 day.
Otherwise for the rest of your classes after MSQ is done:
1 - 61 Palace of the Dead (1-10)
61-71 Heaven on High (21-30)
71-80 Bozja
81-90 Trust Dungeon Spam (We’re getting another deep dungeon in Endwalker supposedly so I imagine that’ll be the best 81-90 slam once it’s out.)
ARMOR BONUS WAS BOOSTED TO 100%. This means screw doing anything until you get one class to 90! Seriously. Blast through MSQ on something you want to quickly 80-90, and then get that Armory Bonus on everything below 90! This is the way.
HEAT OF BATTLE ISN'T THAT GOOD. The best ways to level 1-81 do not really benefit from the Heat of Battle, which only impacts exp gained from monsters. The update made it so only bosses in dungeons give EXP. Heat of Battle II is only 10%, meaning you'll likely only see the equivalent of 1~ sidequest bonus for every dungeon. The only real noticeable difference will be if you're doing endless dungeons daily and really only benefit spamming the 81-89 dungeons.
Considering queues aren't that great and you'll be waiting a lot, FATEs would be faster. In essence, HOB + dungeons aren't preferred, just do your roulettes, MSQ, then go with the above level range guide. Also do challenge logs for guildhests, FATEs, dungeons, leves, and your roulettes for quick in between level EXP (ie 80-81) otherwise the above are your no-brain-grind to 90.

you can leave the queue. you needed to have removed all your gear (except your weapon) and then if the server can retrieve your character data, you can edit it. the fantasia effect will stay there until you confirm a character edit. I remember consuming mine and it sat there for 4 months because idk what to do until i just decided to change my eyebrows lmao
