I have an odd, technical issue while using Steam Remote Play. I've not had this issue at all in the past, but for some reason when I left or right click, and drag, my mouse cursor disappears and it won't unclick unless I tab out. Like, if I unclick, my camera will keep spinning around as if the left or right click buttons are held down until I tab out.

I've finished the 'Heavensward' quest in HW. When I look at the Aether Currents tracker, there are 2 areas that it looks like i have all the quest currents and side currents, but I don't have flying for those areas. I do have flying in 3 of the other areas. so im not sure why id ont have it for those 2

How do I unlock melding?

Complete Forging the Spirit (materia extract/npc melding) and Waking the Spirit (player melding) in Central Thanalan.

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.

I cant say for certain which updates faster and generally they try to source the info as it comes out or when available. I would say best thing to do is if youre at a point in the game where youre free to explore gathering, etc make some graphs, annotate stuff for others to use. This will help build internal resources so people can get what they need and help you out as well

'Which world should I pick?'

You can play on any world on any datacenter within FFXIV. Aside from the languages spoken, the physical location of the servers, and the status of each world, there are no major differences. This also means population on a given server is quite meaningless.
