Legendaries are specific timed nodes you need a masterbook for. Seeds are usually ARR hidden or timed nodes, at least the ones that bring cash.

no, you'd have to reapply the plate when you get new gear. linking a plate to gearset means it'd apply whenever you change to that gearset. i.e swapping jobs. do note that linking a plate to a gearset still has to follow normal plate rules in that it'll only apply the glamour while in a city/housing district/safe zone like idyllshire

You need to fill the rep bar, then do a blue quest to advance to the next rank with 0 bar progress. If you have some dailies that would go over the cap, hand them in after you've finished the quest. You need to get to rank 7? 8? to be "finished" with the tribe.
