For first time relics though, HW is probably one of the easier ones. Shadowbringers is middle, Stormblood's probably 3rd. for subsequent, they're imo roughly the same but you can double up on a few steps with shadowbringer's so i'd put that slightly ahead of hw/sb

main roadblock for HW's relic is its poetic heavy, sb is blocked largely by leveling your e-level, and shb is dealing with bozja mostly

When can I get my first mount?
The quest that allows you to use mounts, ''My Little Chocobo'', is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest ''The Company You Keep''. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose, and you'll need to buy a Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 required Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes immediately after ''The Company You Keep''.

Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Hey all! I'm getting this error when trying to install the game using both the steam version (which I bought) and the web/client(?) version. I've tried using google dns and flushing it before downloading, reinstalling/removing files, using old launcher, disabling firewall/antivirus, and other things which I'm probably forgetting as I've been trying for so long
It should also be noted I'm in SA Aus

Hello, new player here. Hopefully someone can chime in with their thoughts.
I've been playing the free trial and enjoying it and was now thinking of upgrading. I'm worried though that the game's gonna get too difficult or hard to manage later on. I'm only level 40 and already somewhat struggling keeping the pace with people in dungeons. I think I'm doing fine healing and sometimes throwing in a punch or two but surely it's not gonna stay like that. Am I just slow or maybe getting unlucky with too experienced teammates?

dungeons actually start getting EASIER after lvl 50

at lvl 80 you have so many skills and gear the trash becomes a non-issue

Most experienced players you are being partied with likely are their for the daily EXP bonus from the daily roulette, so they typically try to speed run these lower level dungeons. As well, the current meta is tanking wall to wall for lower level content so it might feel like a race because people run it that way. the main thing is just keep the tank alive so if you are doing that, you are doing fine as a healer. How many days have you been playing?

From my experience, People tend to bomb Rush the dungeons. You as a sprout gonna gave harder time keeping up, but I, think thats normal

1. The pace still stay the same, it never hurts worse besides maybe one or two meaty dungeons in the middle of each expac
2. You will get better with time
3. Being unlucky does in fact have a tangible effect on how well you do since a bad tank will make your job harder

also casting Regen is half the healing battle. Medica II is good as well for passive healing. You can also pair that with casting Aero on enemies so you are actually doing a lot of damage over time while you heal.

you open with a suiton on single target, so using the first part of your mudra (123 or 213) will deactivate hide (any action besides sprint deactivates hide)

You can make around 150-170k a week purely by chasing the objectives in the Challenge Log and doing the Fashion Report

though some of the entries in the log can be very grindy if you're not good at them, like running 20 chocobo races and winning 10 of them

Also the text might not be easily legible but the Mahjong challenge log reward is absolutely not worth the time investment unless you actually like playing Mahjong

This is my glamour. The coat is level 50, the staff is level 70, and the boots are level 80. My actual gear under it is level 80 for everything.

Not sure what step you're on or if this is your first relic but I found certain cluster farms to be faster than a group farming fates

Tho imo red mage was the best for farming fates

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

So what I do is track the order. Let's say it's Y-Blu-Blk-P-P-Blu-Y-Blk.

I'll go to Purple and stand adjacent to either Yellow or Blue (whichever is possible) until that color explodes. Then I'll move onto Yellow and wait there until Purple explodes twice, and move back to Purple when it's done.

You can level fisher from level 1 fairly easily by doing ocean fishing. It gives the most scrips in the least amount of time and also gives titles, 3 minions and a mount

Hi-cordials can only be bought with yellow scrips

and if you know what you're doing, you can get probably 40-50 hi-cordials in a single 25 minute run

you can also buy good gathering gear with scrips

Your fisher is level 1 so it'll take about 5 runs of ocean fishing to be at a level where you can start gaining scrips, but you could also boost it 50 for about 250-400k gil.
