Also, mitigation skills like rampart are used for usual mobs and you don't reserve them for boss. Getting attacks from 5-6 mobs is much stronger than boss attack.

so how do map parties go and work
usually what happens is you make a party of ideally 8 people, then everyone who has a map puts the coordinates in chat, then you go around to those areas and find them
whoever owns the map has to dig for it
you then kill all the mobs guarding the chest, and then go through the portal to do the stuff inside until you get to the end or you get kicked out
repeat until you run out of maps

- Weekly challenge log. Easiest ones and least time investments are
- win 3 minigame and 100mgp from mini games. Go to minion Square, do the logging or mining game.
- verminion. Unlock stage 4 and you kill the gobbue easily. My fastest time was 1min4sec. 5 wins nets you 25k mgp
- enter battle Hall and beat wyra green hands 10 times. Easiest npc
- do GATEs and the triple triad open tourney when you come across them
- weekly fashion report 80pts for 60k. Even if you cant get the 80, participating gives you 10k

Crafting Collectables is the exact same as going for HQ items, you raise the quality bar as much as possible and, at the absolute minimum, make sure it meets the minimum requirement to be turned in
if it doesn't meet the minimum needed, it's a wasted craft.

in general though, AoE is basically as you'd expect--for fire 2 the tooltip is "deals fire damage with a potency of 80 to target and all enemies near it", and it does exactly that--the 80 potency doesn't get divided by the enemies it hits or anything like that. It does get the damage bonus from astral fire stacks though, but it's still a lot of MP with a longer cast time with relatively low potency, which just generally feels pretty lukewarm to use

Normally I would say EW will follow the same structure, a category for base EW, a category for up to 6.3 where it wraps up the 6.0 story and another category for up to 6.5 where they set up the next expansion
But they already said that 6.0 will wrap up all of the EW storyline.
