would depend on the group, but in my experience nobody really cares as long as you're bringing proper actions
like honestly, in my experience it's more "demonstrate you're taking this seriously and act the part" than "we need you to have grinded like crazy"
for most classes that means a pure and font of power or mag at minimum
healers can usually do profane instead and rdm has some alternative fuckery as well
melee might be expected to bring rend and a blm lfs

with MCH you can just kinda yolo spam and you do dps anyways
that's why more groups requests mage than ranged dps usually 😄
