The music and game sounds usually keep playing for a little while. hard means you just instantly fail, ie the boss casts a 999999 room aoe

soft means anything from "things become considerably more difficult as a result" to "things rapidly become unmanageable, but not instant death"

Mount speed increases are unlocked per zone, and your first increases come via msq

basically whenever you are done with a zone in ARR you get a speed increase for that zone

What are Role Quests?

Role Quests serve as a replacement for Job-specific quests for Shadowbringers and are split into four categories (Tank, Healer, Physical DPS, and Magical DPS). These are unlocked with the quest 'Warrior of Darkness' at 71 and all start in the Crystarium around x10-11, y15-16.

At least one of these Role Quest series must be entirely completed in order to complete the Shadowbringers story. Completion of these quests, along with having the appropriate Job at 80, is also required to claim job-specific level 80 i430 gear from Grenoldt in The Tempest.

I understand clipping is not being able to use GCD skill because of an OGCD skill animation, so I thought it is best to weave as soon as possible during the GCD, but then I was told that you can also weave too early and I don't understand why... could someone elaborate?

Being at a physical dungeon entrance has always been optional since 2.0. No. You can't revisit ones that are single-instance or are otherwise destroyed at some point.

Basically, if it wouldn't make sense in canon to be able to go back, you can't.

It should do that by default. It should show the coordinates of your cursor at the... I can't remember if it's the top or bottom right corner of the map.

Most people will do Limited for party, at least, since that lets you see your own healers' bubbles and stuff.

'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. Although not required, you can unlock the ability to dye gear with the nearby quest 'Color Your World'. You can get the Orange Juice needed by talking to the nearby Merchant & Mender. Items used for glamouring are not lost upon use.

'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up. You can get more Glamour Prisms by either crafting them after completing the quest 'Absolutely Glamourous', buying them from your Grand Company Quartermaster, or buying them from the marketboard.
