Or share housing.

You don’t need to buy a transfer or remake your character

Im not sure but I think you're talking about Advanced Melding. If the gear has materia slots and doesn't prevent Advanced Melding(it will say if it does), you can attempt to meld more materia than the number of slots up to 5 at the risk of failing and losing the materia.

||I'm a returning player and I am currently re-playing the game through New Game +. I have reach post Stormblood patch, where you play as Alphinaud when you 1st meet with Gaius Unmasked . It's a rather long sequence of cutscene before and after this small duty, and I had to go for an emergency mid cutscene. Now I logged back, and the game ask me to re-take a table for tea with Alisaie in Rising Stone, like at the very begining of the quest. Problem is, the chair in the Rising Stone that was marked as "Destination" with the sparkles is not there anymore. I dont have the "abandon" button in the quest journal, only the map one. What can I do? I don't want to have to replay the post SB patches up to there again :/||

What do all these quest icons mean?

- These are how you reach the endgame and every other bit of content is locked behind it to some extent. MANDATORY
- These unlock a feature, instanced content, job actions, or a thing that is important for you to have. Do the ones related to your job/class and ones that unlock new content
- These usually have very little exp/gil as reward and are usually just part of the world/lore expansion. Mostly optional unless you are interested in doing them for the fluff
- These are quests you can do more than once, how often you can repeat it is up to the individual quest.
