Yeah Handsaint is more than enough, and if Shadowbringers was any indication, it will last all the way to level 90.
At which point you use the level 90 baseline crafted gear

If you're 78 it's not too hard (seen as how last quest for deliveries is 78) but you'll get a level 80 quest at the end btw.

I've seen people say that Aesthete's Set is better than Landsaints cause it can slot materia. I get that maybe if you have the whole gear set, but if I just want the Fishing Rod, it doesn't seem better? Landsaints has higher stats notably with Gathering at 833 vs 803 for Aesthete's. The highest materia that can be slotted is a +20 and that brings it up to 823. Still lower and coupled with that, lower perception and vitality. Now I get set bonuses apply making the Aesthete's better, but if I don't plan on getting the set but ONLY want weapon, I assume I can just go Landsaints?

Aesthete gear can hold up to 5 materia per piece however the chance of success decreases for each additional materia.
But being able to slot that many in to it allows the aesthete to get much higher stats than the scrip gear.

Yeah I knew it was reduced success but 5 is a big difference then, a total of 903 Gathering vs 833. Don't know cutoff points tho so not sure it's worth the investment still? Again, just looking at the weapon for now. For my BTN I go for the Skybuilder one.

The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Manor Sentry is spawned when the final boss drops to around 25% HP. Manor Sentry will use Level 5 Petrify at around 20% HP.
