Earring/ring only give bonus XP for killing things, so you'll get the most use out of them in places like dungeons which have enemies to chew through in sequence

How do I unlock melding?

Complete Forging the Spirit (materia extract/npc melding) and Waking the Spirit (player melding) in Central Thanalan.

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.

vercure may scale off of int, but the purpose of it is not to be like a replacement healer in a pinch. a syou will go oom very quickly if you're spamming vercure

vercure is, most of the time, a means to proc dualcast during downtime

and can be used in a pinch to keep yourself topped off

Where/How can I get the FFXV Orchestrion Rolls?
After you have completed the FFXV collaboration quest 'The Man in Black' you'll be able to buy the Orchestrion rolls from the Ironworks Hand located in Central Thanalan at x22, y18. The tokens needed to exchange for the Orchestrion rolls come from the Collaboration FATE Like Clockwork located east of Black Brush Station.

Each completion of the FATE gives you 1 token for silver rating and 2 tokens for gold rating, which means that you'll need to complete the fate 3 to 6 times to be able to buy all 6 Orchestrion rolls.
