there is a setting to change the cursor which might have a setting for none that could be changed back but seems more likely a restart will fix it without playing with the settings

I checked heavenwhere and there should be a gatekeeper and zone entrance for it but neither of these are unlocked for me. Here is a screenshot with circles of the normal entrance positions. I strongly recommend leveling your gatherers when leveling crafting to be self sufficient, check prices of items you craft and craft double the item to sell.
