Actually, I don't think you do. You'd get the abilities for the class you're playing. So like, if you're going in as a gladiator and haven't done the quest to get your soul stone to be a paladin, you'll only have the gladiator abilities.

yes Eureka is a grind. Make sure to always try to kill enemies at or slightly above your level

and if people are doing it, help spawn notorious monsters by killing specific enemies, to spawn fates for big EXP

I think for mining and foraging u can forfeit going after them, as u can get free Pickaxes and whatever BTNs use from their job quests, and it's only a matter of luck to get the HQ items to complete them

for Crafters, it might be more complicated, because u might not even have the necessary stats to craft the required items

Oh, for crafting gloves, if u already maxed the reputation of the Ixali beast tribe, their vendor sells a lv 50 crafting glove that has the stats of lv 55 gear

I was wondering how long it's going to take to get to heavensward? I've only really been told its like roughly 80 to 100 quests but that doesnt really tell me much because some quests can take 5 minutes where as others can take up to an hour.

massive decrease in EXP and chance to get HQ. Even just making the simplest possible crafting macro will net you better rewards, but if it's some lower level mats that you dont feel like crafting over and over or you value time over exp gains and quality then quicksynthesis is a good option

What do all these quest icons mean?

- These are how you reach the endgame and every other bit of content is locked behind it to some extent. MANDATORY
- These unlock a feature, instanced content, job actions, or a thing that is important for you to have. Do the ones related to your job/class and ones that unlock new content
- These usually have very little exp/gil as reward and are usually just part of the world/lore expansion. Mostly optional unless you are interested in doing them for the fluff
- These are quests you can do more than once, how often you can repeat it is up to the individual quest.
