few things with that:

• you should generally not be in a situation that you need to refresh UI, your goal is to only spend 1-2 GCDs in UI before heading back into AF. Being in a situation where UI is falling off means you have a significant amount of downtime in casting
• that aside, if you are in this situation, you should really just F3 instead of extending UI

there's not really any reason to want to extend UI like that. Unless you're lower level and there's a bunch of downtime with nothing targetable, and then the enemy comes back with only that 4s left on the timer. In which case, you'd just F3 (and otherwise plan your transpose timing a little better, which you don't have to worry about at high level anyways)

that's the GCD

you can check all of the crafted primal shields on the marketboard if one has a shape to your preference. all the other relic shields have basically have the same overall shape
