On PC, you go into the social menu (press o), and to the party tab. Here you will find a list of everyone in your group. Right click the offending player's name and there will be an option at the bottom to "vote dismiss". I believe any member can start a vote, and that it doesn't say anything to the offending member until they're already gone.

Is there a way to map controls used for other characters onto a controller? Every time it makes me play as an ally (or in my current case, the G-warrior), the attack inputs are hard to use because they aren’t mapped to buttons and using the touchpad as a mouse sucks.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

in scholar HW questline, there is a moment where you have to get on the ship in the coerthas western highlands which seemingly has no entrance, but you definitely can get to the quest marker with flying mount, does it actually require flying to get there?

Don't worry too much about gearing your overleveled Jobs when you are still on lvl 50 story
