In the case of crafter and gatherer, they can meld primary stats, so they can choose to meld early on to boost their capabilities

new stuff usually becomes oversaturated past the first month or two of a patch

And sometimes, even just the crafting materials or pure materials can be decent money

and similar to what you're doing, but levequest items are another possibility

people spam those to level up, and might be lazy enough to buy a lot of them

You want to pace your migitation. But until level 50 dungeons, I don't advise wall 2 wall for most dungeons because of how massively different dungeon design is from ARR to the expansions

A wall to all in ARR can be anywhere from 2-3 packs (normal for expansions) up to like, 6-7 packs

It's especially bad as none of the leveling dungeons have been touched, but more than a few later patch dungeons do follow the expansion design with set walls and stuff.

So really, it's just a learning curve.

I have questions about materia. I have been leveling crafting jobs in shb and I didn't have anything to use my yellow scrips on. I noticed vendors sell materia too and i figured I could sell that stuff. Then i noticed some crafting materia VI being stronger than VII . Then I googled about it and apparently the VII is used for overmelding since VI cannot be used to overmeld. I had no idea of such mechanics. Then I tried to google rules regarding this, but I cannot find any.

So, that depends. As long as you have a quest that needs you to collect dropped items from things like zone Fates/CEs or Alliance/Normal raids, then yes, it won't cap your item drops. You can collect as many as you want.
