no reason to hold onto poetics, they're easy enough to come by, that said ironworks get outpaced by the lv 54 HQ gear given via the msq/55 dungeon gear

use it for what you can wear now unless you are like a level away. you cap tomes very easily

also remember you can use the poetics gear for your alt jobs.
