Keep in mind the raids in this game aren’t like those in other games. “Raid” tends to be a loaded term which makes people think of hours spent wiping and learning mechanics.
Normal raids in ffxiv are meant to be done in one sitting and usually take 20mins to an hour or so depending on which you do.

Just use whatever gear is recommended til endgame. You don't need to worry about optimizinf sub stats until then

I have the same issue, but I changed something in the settings to not face enemies auto, but then I can't hit enemies without looking at them manually, so does legacy thing fix that ?

If you use jump + mouse turn (holding down both rmb and lmb) you can jump, turn quick, attack, and turn back around before you hit the ground without your camera turning.

Haha i guess. Honestly i felt that heavensward was overhyped. It's definitely good and have very high moments like step of faith but having played plenty JRPGs including trails series, i feel that it's great but not a masterpiece. ShB on the other hand, blew my mind.

Yo guys, WoW refugee here - im a mythic raider and high-end player and have been for the past 10 years of my life but i've decided to lay off wow at least for a couple months, so i brought over some guildies who have around the same experience as me. We're by no means new to MMORPGs, and have played a couple others throughout the years so we're not scared of hard to play classes, either mechanically nor strategically (difficulty avoiding raid mechanics etc.) - we're wondering how important is it to have a tank and/or healer in our group to find dungeons/raids faster when we start out, and how important are semi-support classes such as bard (or in case there's not a lot of them being played), since wow has a big drought of tank players and most people just go big damage boom boom, so having supportive roles is usually the best choice. Sorry if this is asked a lot or if this is in the wrong channel, but i couldnt find a specific answer to this by searching the discord nor google. Thanks in advance!

tanks and healer always got faster qs but that can be circumvented if you preform a suitable party anyway

very subjective, generally sch is considered more difficult though.
but regardless of which you pick healers only have like. 3 main dps abilities, one of which being an aoe
