Question for anyone here:
I'm a sprout that has been leveling crafters as i progress through the msq. I however ended up outstripping my battle job levels, so I've been kinda parking them right now around 53-66, when I'm still near the end of heavensward on the msq side. I've been leveling mostly off of the daily GC turn ins, with a few purchases in between. However, due to this, my crafter gear is really lacking (think like lvl 30 pieces on level 53-58 jobs). I just ended up getting some yellow scrips from unlocking the idyllshire collectable turn ins, and I was wondering if I should spend some scrips to update my crafter gear (I have about 950ish right now)?
Buying crafter gear on the marketplace is pretty expensive now, especially with how fast they're getting outdated. I can craft some of my own, but it's a large money sink for where I am right now.
I guess the other thing I could do is just stop leveling them and wait until I hit 80 and try immediately for end game gear, but that's not much fun :\

Hey I have a question about modding 14. I've seen online that people say sometimes you can get permanently banned for using even just the Bard mod that helps you automate playing instruments, but is it that bad? How about mods to enhance the graphics? Does the game pick up on that and eventually ban you for using any 3rd party software?
I had that same problem when I got into 14 my first few months. I eventually just bit the bullet and focused on MSQ before playing around with crafters as I used gatherers to supply myself for most of the lvling process.

The game can't pick up or know that you're using 3rd party programs. SE's stance on it is that as long as you don't harass anyone or talk about it in-game you're completely fine

You can do Levequests, which are expensive but one of the fastest methods of leveling crafters, or you can take your time and go to the firmament

There is scrip gear but it isn't really usable at 50, I think the lowest level gear directly from the scrip vendor requires 58
There might be some lower level sets that you can get for rowena's tokens that you buy with scrips, idk about that
regardless any higher level crafter/gatherer stuff will probably require you to delve into the wonderful world of scrips

So that's leather worker, weaver, armorer(or blacksmith), and alchemy for one craft
The only crafter which is by itself is culinarian

If you're doing the Muudhorn/Yeti/Griffin rings, make sure they're in the right-hand ring slot.
Most of the time, "Easy 80" can be achieved with 2 items from the theme or one item from the theme and enough correct/close dyes.
