my end game rotation is basically ley lines > blizard 3 or freeze > eno chan > thunder 3 > bliz 4 > fire 3 > fire 4 spam > fire 1 > (sometimes triple cast into) fire 4 again until i get low on mp > despair > bliz 3/freeze, rinse and repeat

throw in xeno/foul/thunder procs when you can

they are not needed in normal content, it doesn't hurt to practice using them but they aren't placed into any normal rotation/opener because they are not damaging or buffing abilities

In the Shadowbringers expansion, the changes to difficulty for tanks/healers is really getting to me. My nightmare as a healer is wasting everyone's time getting one shot and wiping everyone and that's happening more often. I have never used materia throughout my playthrough of the game. I don't know the exact changes as I'm pretty new to the game and wasn't playing back when they were implemented. I heard they specifically designed Shadowbringer MSQ dungeon to push tanks and healers harder as everything was boringly simplistic in all the previous content. Mini-bosses that normally would provide zero challenge in expansions like in Stormblood now hit like trucks. Some mini-bosses will one shot me if I mess up any mechanic which wasn't really a thing before

What trees do spec into for my chocobo?
The typically recommended chocobo skill point allocation is to get 4 ranks into the healing tree for choco cure, followed by maxing out the DPS tree. The tank tree does not allow your chicken to gain enough enmity to surpass your own output, so its shelved for last. You can eventually max out every tree, though to level your chocobo past rank 10 you will need Thavnairian Onions

you can set up guilds/marriage/whatnot with people in your world

but you can do all instanced content with everyone in your data centre

you can visit other worlds in your data centre at anytime
