most of the nodes in ARR zones want a specific time of day or weather, sometimes both.

Expansion sightseeing log as a whole only has like one or two nodes that need a time of day or weather

Alright so, I'm a new player, and I am really struggling with starting to play FFXIV, and it's with my opening Job choice. (I know I can be everything on one character.) Coming from WoW, I usually played classes like Fury Warrior, Beast Master Hunter, and Rogue. I liked being mobile, playing aggressively, smooth/instinctual rotation and feeling like I offered something to the group besides just raw DPS. Depends on your crafting stat compared to what you're quicksynthing. Below a certain level you can fail with the lower you are the more frequent it occurs. Above certain values you will never fail and start to see hQ results.

As for being mobile and playing aggresively, you might consider a melee DPS like Dragoon or Monk - as mentioned yeah not too much support until late but it can be pretty fun.
When it comes to offering something besides raw DPS though, maybe tanking is for you? Worth taking a look at if so, in this game we do honour the MMO trinity of jobs BUT even the Tanks and Healers in this game are expected to keep DPS uptime to a maximum, the game is sort of built around it. So even if you tank or heal, you're still focused on your rotation. Gunbreaker has a very fluid and fun rotation but you'd have to get to 60 first

Ok so, a few weeks ago I purchased the Shadowbringers expansion (while still being on trial), and realized I purchased the wrong thing, I got "Shadowbringers Collectors Edition" (I thought it would include the game as well ). So I purchased the "Complete Edition" as well, of the game. Afaik, there's now supposed to be a big button on my Mogstation which I click in order to put in the Shadowbringers code, to get the ingame loot. However, I don't have that button on my mogstation.
I tried sending a support ticket to Square Enix about this, I only got a e-mail with a link for me to cancel the ticket, and no reply on the support ticket itself yet.
So do any of you guys know any solution to this?

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.
