Ah i see what you mean. Try it when you unlock BLM then. I would take a read through the BLM leveling rotation guide because even though you're using some skills now, they will take a backseat at later levels (Like Fire 2, or Blizzard 2) so you might want to "move them out of the way" if you're trying to build muscle memory. Hope that makes sense

None others that you'd want to completely remove from your hotbar - especially considering you'll need Fire II and Blizzard II if you ever sync down while doing a roulette or some such

Up to you, but as you noticed yeah after level like 30 things just stop being sold by NPCs. So without access to the market board, if you want anything above that level you have to go get it yourself. Another reason to level them all together, for sure

When yall first started, how much did you switch classes?

I really want to find a main class, but none of the ones I've tried so far seem to really click with me. They're fun, but not something that I would consider a main since I don't enjoy them 100%. My highest class is a lvl 65 dancer in the beginning of Stormblood, and im worried that trying out other classes will take an extremely long time to level up, or something that stunts growth in a way. Any advice on this?

Nobody knows you better than you, recommend checking out a video on how jobs play at 80 to help you decide. Leveling doesnt take THAT long, I unlocked AST two weeks ago and very lazily (just roulettes basically) got it to 78 today.
I'm two jobs away from having all at 80 so I switch jobs a lot but am a "Tank main" so my advice would be to focus on which "role" you like best (Tank? Heals? Magic DPS, or melee/ranged DPS?) and try some of those jobs out. Some of them start at higher levels even, but you can always take a job into Palace of the Dead and see how it looks at level 60 inside POTD, even if you're Level 1 on it OUTSIDE POTD.

Relic Weapons FAQ

"What are Relic Weapons?"

Relic weapons are special weapons created and upgraded through a questline which is gradually added to in an expansion's lifespan and requires time spent grinding, spending tomestones, or even Gil to complete. Relic weapons don't become the best weapon until the last main patch of their expansion. A Realm Reborn has the Zodiac Weapon, Heavensward has the Anima Weapon, and Stormblood has the Eureka Weapon.

"Should I get a Relic Weapon from the older expansions?"

Unless you want it for glamour then no. There are much easier weapons to get that are comparable in stats to the final step of the relic.

"How hard are they to make?"

Each of the relic weapons have their own main factor in difficulty. Zodiac Weapons can potentially cost over a million Gil to complete depending on server economy, Anima Weapons require a somewhat large amount of Tomestones of Poetics, and Eureka Weapons require a lot of time spent grinding in specialized zones made for the relic.

Submit another and clarify that the chocobo in question was below level 40 and you didn't get a retired choco form. This definitely shouldn't happen. The fact that you can't get another racing choco confirms that there's something wrong. One thing I'd try is relogging, in case the client did an oops and you still have your choco.

Basically, I only have 9 hotbars, with 1 that's solely dedicated to actual casting.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

As a tank, all attacks generate aggro at a rate of damage done x10 provided tank stance is on (DRK's tank stance is Grit)

If the tank is not able to hold aggro, either they have forgotten to toggle on their tank stance or they are simply not hitting the enemy.

Oooh, just discovered something: If you DO later meet criteria for extra dialogue, going to your Inn Room to find the Never Ending Journey book will have markers showing to help you with noticing new dialogue.
