question about cancelling move animations, I wanna know because usually for moves with long animations (not casting) I usually let the move visually finish before using my next. Does that matter or the second you cast/press button on an attack, the enemy takes damage in full, no matter the animation length and I can just cut the animation early with another move. Basically can I cut move animations early without worrying about losing damage or what not. ty ty.

ok knowing that the glamour stays assigned regardless of the plate, the solution was to remove the set linking. now when i switch sets, it stays with the glamour but i don't get the red error anymore. i don't plan on changing the plates all that often , if at all.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.
