Howdy folks, I'm a fairly new player. I primarily play Bard (for some reason). Question: how much better is Dex compared to Crit Hit? I've been using i510 Law's Order boots with 4x Savage Aim VIII and 1x Savage Might VIII, but got i520 boots from Tower today, which I melded with 2x Savage Aim VIII. Overall, I'm losing about 120 crit and 54 Determination for 20 more dex, 28 vitality, and 6 direct hit. That doesn't feel like worth, but I know Dex is valued fairly highly so ???

Tried out samurai which also seems to evovle around this kind of 1 2 3 pattern.. Only that I get to use 3 different combos to then finish it off and start again.. Tried red mage, liked it but also seems to have a very simple kit. You range cast, then you jump in, press 1 2 3.
Does this get better at some point? Because, dear god, this is about as disengaged as I have ever been while fighting 😦

Yeah you'll get poetics just by doing level 50 dungeons and roulettes.
You'll also "stop getting Poetics" at 51 again, but you'll start picking Poetics up when you get to level 60, and so on.

you need to be in limsa and have a level 10 job to pick up rogue

but you can travel between cities really early on in the story anyway

Do that one, that will give you a full set of item level 90 gear for free, is what I mean.
