Both are viable, don't worry. The only difference is by floor 50 your job will be level 60, which class stops getting new skill past level 50. But when spamming floor 51-60 for xp, your LNC will benefit most from the exp

You have to do 9 books per weapon. It's by far the worst step (unless the anima step fucked you over). Just trade them for a new book one by one until you are told to stop.

Much harder and others can't rez or esuna you. I'd go in as a self healing class, and stock up on potions, ethers, spine drops, echo drops etc. Also if you ever die, your save is ruined and have to start over from the beginning.
Also you can keep your pomanders between sets of 10 floors which is nice.

Probably not. I paced myself, so the whole zeta took me like two months. Books are a very, very, very long step. And you need like 20-30 Tower runs minimum (I also recommend doing other roulettes just so you don't go insane).

Did you read to the bottom of the reddit post? That guy had his account hacked, and it took him quite a bit to get it back. I'm not sure if it's the same thing that happened to you, but only official support can help at this point.
