yeah for super optimization stuff, i would say that war is the easiest in my opinion, but you'll be good enough to clear and do well on pretty much any of them as long as you understand the basics (your rotation, cds, tankswaps, etc)

Yeah, I know like the basics of tanking, use defensives fairly often, always face boss north, don't move the boss all around and that, just not sure which is a safe pick as a novice tank, I know pld would likely be the safest, but having that extra party utility would probably throw me off

The only differences between the three Grand Companies are the looks of the equipment and where they're located. How do I get Grand Company Seals?

You can get more seals mainly by completing your Grand Company Hunting Log (Go to the Hunting Log and click on the GC icon), completing FATEs, and turning in crafted/gathered items to the Personnel Officer if you have crafting or gathering classes unlocked. Once you are Sergeant 2nd Class you can turn in Pink/Green/Blue-rarity gear in exchange for more seals.

If you are striving to spiritbond level 40 gear, you want to craft level 50 gear, gather from level 50 nodes, run level 50 dungeons, or kill level 50 enemies. The level of loot from bosses determines enemy levels in a dungeon.

"What is the Glamour Dresser?"

The Glamour Dresser allows you to glamour an entire set of equipment at once when in a city or town. You can find the dresser in your inn room at any of the Adventurer's guilds.

"How do I use it?"

In order to use the Glamour Dresser you need to first put the items you want to use for glamour inside of it. This requires a one-time cost of one Glamour Prism per item. You're able to safely take out the items, but you'll need to pay another Glamour Prism to put it back into the Dresser. After you have put in the glamour items you want to use for your set you'll want to click on "Edit Glamour Plates".

When the plate window opens up you can select the stored glamours you have onto the slots of the plate to create the set you desire. Once you're satisfied with your glamour click on "Save". You can now apply your Glamour Plate by accessing the Character menu, clicking the Glamour Plate button, and choosing the Plate that you have made.

@elfin drum It seems to be, I'm running at the same. It's probably because it's kicking up your GPU and CPU, which are usually pretty power hungry. I can't say I've ever paid that much attention to it. I wouldn't think it's much of a concern unless your hardware is right up on the wattage limit for your PSU, which would be a bigger concern in and of itself.
