I recommend plugging the set into teamcraft, it'll give you a nice material list, from raw ingredients to precrafts and full crafts

but in general, the MSQ and dungeons should furnish you entirely with level appropriate gear

so you don't need to craft combat gear

So, my sister and I like to both play healers for 8+ people content. She does white mage and I do scholar. We're rather low level still (only on ARR patches), so obviously things will change a lot at higher level.

We know that healers are supposed to try to get in damage where possible. But, having read (higher level) guides and whatnot, it feels like we ought to be dealing damage way more often than we do. I can generally maintain Bio and pop an occasional Ruin II if I need to move around or an Art of War if there's adds, but I don't usually end up with a good spot to be casting Ruin 1 consecutively unless I'm getting like a Critlo and have Aetherflow for Lustrate in case things start going bad. My sister deals even less, only occasionally popping an Aero or Stone. The vast majority of the time, we're trying to keep people healed.

So the question is basically, are we doing things wrong? Are we healing too much and thus losing damage that way? Or is it more that we're missing the higher level skills we'd need for more damage / more oGCD healing? Or do our teammates just need to learn how to dodge better? I know it's not easy to say what we're doing wrong without seeing us in action, so best guess(es) is(are) ok.
