If the mob is moving then it will run to the new target when the server tick updates it and reminds them the target has changed

Mentors in game have a deserved rep of being comedy relief and nothing more. The requirements for becoming a mentor do not require you to be any good at the game whatsoever and very often attracts egotists and power trippers

'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. Although not required, you can unlock the ability to dye gear with the nearby quest 'Color Your World'. You can get the Orange Juice needed by talking to the nearby Merchant & Mender. Items used for glamouring are not lost upon use.

'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up. You can get more Glamour Prisms by either crafting them after completing the quest 'Absolutely Glamourous', buying them from your Grand Company Quartermaster, or buying them from the marketboard.

AST tends to overheal a lot because their dots are just gonna get overhealed

40% overheal is a very good starting point, you can slowly wittle that down as you level up more and get more healing tools, and when you start getting more comfortable with the game as a whole. for now, just know that its a good thing you are thinking about these things!

'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. hey guys so im not sure how they do it but I see people with like super cool organized skill bars, thing is, if I play more than 1 job, isint that gonna be a bit tedious to key bind? or how does it work?

you don't be able to hire retainers, use the market, but a house, form a party, or send tells during free trial, but otherwise no, you will not miss any story

one thing i'd recommend you do if you're brand new to the game and want to play healer, early on you'll be sent to do monster hunt quests, things that as a healer will be much harder to go through, especially in the first levels, if you pick arcanist as your starting class, at lv30 you'll evolve your class into scholar or summoner (healer and dps respectively) and then it'll be easy to progress through the story even as a healer in solo missions, but early on it's not recommended to play healer unless you have friends to help you @leaden ginkgo

healing in ffxiv is mostly killing things before they kill your party, occasionally healing your tank if he gets low, healing dps members that don't dodge mechanics, and doing the occasional heal-check in a boss-fight, but 90% of your actions should still be dps-ing
