There's likely a mechanism that stops the mobs from spawning, or weakens them. Listen carefully to the NPCs before and during the instance. Could also be gear problems. If nothing else helps, Very Easy is your best friend.

In your duty finder window select the ⚙️ icon on the top left to open up the duty finder settings window.
Inside that window select the setting undersized party before confirming and entering the instances of your choice. NOTE: UNSYNC-ING AN INSTANCE WILL FORFEIT ALL OF YOUR EXP AND COMPLETION REWARDS. so people commonly spam 50-60 to level their DPS due to significantly shorter queue times compared to dungeon spamming

'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. Although not required, you can unlock the ability to dye gear with the nearby quest 'Color Your World'. You can get the Orange Juice needed by talking to the nearby Merchant & Mender. Items used for glamouring are not lost upon use.

'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up. You can get more Glamour Prisms by either crafting them after completing the quest 'Absolutely Glamourous', buying them from your Grand Company Quartermaster, or buying them from the marketboard.

the glamour applies the appearance of your desired item ON TOP OF your current item

so you maintain the stats of your current item but it displays the appearance of another

this also means you can't glamour a higher level item over a low level item

i.e. I can't make my level 60 armor look like level 80 armor

As a low-level Arcanist, what's the use-case for the Miasma ability? It does 20 damage, and then 20 damage over 30 seconds. Why would I not just do Bio, which deals 20 damage over 30 seconds, and then Ruin, which does 180 damage? The only downside I can think of is that the latter requires 100 extra mana, but I have 10k, so it's not exactly an issue
