Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

Nope, your unlocking quest will give you a cane. For blue mage, your main arm doesn't actually matter, unless you want to meld it. It has no stats.

To all black mages!!! So Im a level 61 black mage just going back to the game today after a 2 years hiatus and Im confused. I cant use my spell enochian and therefore not Fire 4 either. I used to start with Blizzard 3 followed by enochian. I could do that in the wild against low level foes but when a dungeon I did not manage top fire off a single enochian and could only attack with Fire 1. What am I missing here?

Instead of wiping your hotbar, you might have switched your main hotbar on the fly - from hotbar 1 to like hotbar 6 which was empty.
You can change your main hotbar on the fly, but you can always go back to 1. There should be a little up arror down arrow to the left - try hitting that and going through it

Unfortunately not - one of the pet peeves of playing a caster. Its worth looking thru a pack of enemies to see which ones are highest health, maybe tab target switching while youre casting if its about to die

Man that’s a pain, also one more thing. Here’s another pet peeve, I play with a controller and sometimes it’s a little janky. You can hang onto it if you will level another of those jobs, or you can sell them for gil sure. A good thing to do is for Green/Blue unique gear, you can sell them to your Grand Company once you have that unlocked, in exchange for seals. This is what most of us do with old gear we dont use, I think!

(You can also desynthesize gear if you have a crafter leveled appropriately. It will give you materials back. Not sure if you do,tho)

When i started playing the game, my friend told me which data center and which world to play, so i never really questioned it. My main question is: is Aether the West Coast server, Primal the middle america, and Crystal Eastern America?

You can pick any Data Center you want, whatever is open and has room for you. About 60-80% of NA servers are closed for characters lately due to the WoW exodus, so anywhere you can find is good. If you can find an open Preferred/STarred world, even better.
