i mained SCH for fast queues until 60, then i made a GNB who did Heavensward, SCH is 66, GNB is now 70. I levelled a Dragon from 1-60 so i could continue with 4.0 and not 'waste' xp. Once im upto MSQ 66 i will continue with my SCH.

How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

Somewhat rare, it respawns every few hours. I believe that should drop 50 allied seals. If you're level 50, you'll probably need a group to kill it. But you can solo it if you're a geared lvl 60, or lvl 70

Thats a tough question, honestly id say no but it depends on what content your doing. They wont be killed unless a mechanice kills them due to their healing but their dmg is not the same as like a tank or dps, but if your wanting something to solo old content BLU is best bet.

dps is not a problem in old raids

survivability is

the only reason healers do less dps in a raid scenario is because they are using gcd heals

What are Role Quests?

Role Quests serve as a replacement for Job-specific quests for Shadowbringers and are split into four categories (Tank, Healer, Physical DPS, and Magical DPS). These are unlocked with the quest 'Warrior of Darkness' at 71 and all start in the Crystarium around x10-11, y15-16.

At least one of these Role Quest series must be entirely completed in order to complete the Shadowbringers story. Completion of these quests, along with having the appropriate Job at 80, is also required to claim job-specific level 80 i430 gear from Grenoldt in The Tempest.

not really. there's Universalis as a website to look up stuff, but it relies on people using a plug-in to be up to date on the items they specifically search for

depends on what you're wanting to get out of them. A major note is that they cannot outlevel you on your classes

so if you don't have miner or botanist leveled up at all they can't go past level 1
