Yeah that should just be a single UI element. Its a bar, you can put it wherever you want - I use middle left, WoW players sometimes use top right. Just make sure you can see it clearly wherever you put it, it will fill/unfill as buffs come and go.

There's an overworld version of the factory, available from the tunnels in Komra. There's also a lot of hiding sneaky boxes in there that give you cool nier lore

The game is a standard Fantasy MMO, with a priority on telling a story. You run the Main Story Quests (MSQ) to progress. Gear can be either quest rewards, dungeon loot, or purchased at your discretion though dungeon gear tends to be better for the level. Progressing is easy enough as there very little in the way of road blocks.

You can't start as a Ninja or it's starter class, the rogue. As for which one is easier, both are easy to start out with and by the time the complexity sets in you'll be experienced enough to make it work.
