Hi everyone, happy to be part of this discord ! I joined here before being able to play the game because I have had a lot of errors and the customer service have been of no help to me yet 😦
Maybe someone is familiar with this, I bought FFXIV on steam and could not install the basic launcher, had to do a lot of things to make it work : change DNS address, reboot to safe mode, change IE settings, run as admin and it finally went through.
Now I came up with another error which can be seen in attachment. I have given admin rights to all users there as well as disabled antivirus, firewall and added that whole folder to exceptions for them just in case... Tried running as admin too but nothing cuts it.
I am stuck and have been troubleshooting the game installation and patching for days, I've heard it's a common problem - not sure if that makes it better or worse 😄

Hello, I entered the triple tournament thingy without realizing there was a time limit. Anyway. I battled the elf dude X amount of times. Then I decided to take a break to see if I got the amount of points necessary to get platinum cards. But now no one of the npcs wants to do battle with me anymore.
Though before I quit, I did get the option to do another round for 69 tournament points.
Have I reached the 20 battles then, seeing as none of them wants to do battle with me anymore?
Also, where can I view my own score. Not the top 10. Just want to know how I did. I won every match aside from one where I got a draw.

Sidequests are not really that good for XP in this. Side jobs are more like "another main" job in this tbh, since changing between them is seemless. The way people level other jobs are for the most part through the daily leveling quests, some of the beast tribes and through the use of "Deep Dungeon"
