can do potd any time you feel like it after unlocking since it's optional content. I wouldn't suggest using it for leveling/serious learning since everything explodes fast with exception of bosses. getting to floor 50 might be problematic since most people doing it repeat 51-60

the main level is whatever you make it out to be. the job level is independent of each other so that lv 20 gladiator is seperate from a lv5 thm which is separate from a lv 50 red mage (when get to the point where it's available if have the expansion)

if asking how to do it first it's a matter of learning the visual tells since it has random aggro. the big ones are generally flaming recoil (frontal flame), tail swipe, tail swing (360), targeted aoe. you can get rath to kill the wildlife. post big add is the same as normal apart from the difficulty of 4 person (or lack of in unsynced so can avoid stacking for stack)

How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

Which world should I pick?

Hi everyone. So, a few years ago I bought FF14 on Steam but, due to work, I stopped playing and instead started a Free Trial account so I could play whenever I want. Today, I found out that the Free Trial is also available on Steam, I downloaded it but after I write my ID and Password it still asks me for a key, even thought I made completely sure that I downloaded the Demo version (play up to level 60).

Depends on how much you play tbh. You need to get to hydratos and get all the logo actions and then farm crystals for the glow. I took my time and did my challenge log weekly to level up each time but I was also doing the relic

Like, you need to be on your Home Server for access to retainers, your FC Housing (guild house) if they have one
You can party up with people on another server, you can visit another server in your data center and run around, do all your quests as if you were on your home server, if thats what you mean

Appearance (hair style / colour, tattoos etc.) can be changed alone ingame with the Aesthetician (Barber) for gil. Its p cheap.
Fantasia must be used for the big stuff (Race, gender, height, tail etc.)

yup, you right click on the big crystals to attune to them and you can teleport to them, for a price.

you can also set one crystal as your "home" point and you can use the Return ability to go back there for free, though it has a long cooldown

i think by default your home crystal is your starting city

oh and the big cities themselves have smaller blue crystals that you can use to get around as well

Depends on what you are and what you want. One combat and one or two gatherers can be a good mix, combat retainer is easy to gear up because you can give it your own old gear

I've started reading online, and most of what I read about Monk is pretty negative.
