Kinda. The ARR ones take a huge amount of time, but you can also more easily focus on a single ARR tribe. One mount per beast tribe, and a funny questline and a glam piece if you cap all of them. HW/SB beast tribes take less time (more rep per quest), but you have to do all of 'em at once for best efficiency, because you only get more than 3 quests per tribe per day on a day you bump up a rep level with a tribe. Similarly, one mount per tribe, and another funny questline and an emote and glam piece if you cap all of them.
ShB is a bit different, in that there's only one battle tribe, and their dailies give just a buttload of XP.
No ShB unifying beast tribe questline, though, which makes sense since it's hard to follow up from the previous three due to ShB's storyline.
ARR has four combat tribes and a single non-combat beast tribe, the Ixal, who are for crafting classes. HW, all three two are combat, and one is for crafting (and is the most hated beast tribe). SB, two are combat, and one is both crafting and gathering (and the questlines are very funny). ShB has one combat, one crafting, and one gathering.

You'll always gain value. Best option if you're doing a lot of ventures is hang on to your Allagan pieces, and use those. It's easy to get to exactly the max weekly donation that way.
That way they also take the fewest slots in inventory between weeks.
