Ive heard that "most" jobs have very simialar stat priorities so could you realistically within like 1-2% optimally play say mch dnc and brd with one set? provided you got 3 weapons? Ive heard that getting a full bis raid set or so takes about 8 weeks or so so id imagine getting 2 full armor sets per tier is the max most people would do, maybe just one. does that end up making melee dps less popular at all since they have a lot of split armor set between them compared to the other roles or is that not really a factor? out of the dps roles which is usually the hardest to come by when making a group?

if you want faster queue times in dungeons, healer / tank is a good option. But the queues dont last long in the first place.

if you want to level your chocobo, the challenge log is by far the fastest method albeit weekly

letting your chocobo take care of healing is for the most part going to benefit you more

retainers can be combat or gatherer. if you don't have intention in touching crafting/gathering, then its kind of moot to make the 2nd one a gatherer
