You use Doton pre-pull on bosses so it can tick some times

But most likely in dungeons there's no pre pull and everyone just goes

Olde expansion relic grinding is really something to do if you don't have anything else you'd rather be doing. If you want to spend excess Tomestones you can also use them to get items to put on the market board for gil, Grade 3 Thanalan Topsoil is a sound investment as anyone who gardens will use them.

Unlock the Aurum Vale dungeon and run it several times. Do FATEs in Mor Dhona while waiting in queue if you're DPS

alternatively you can unlock and run Palace of the Dead, but doing it from scratch isn't that fast

after you've gotten to floor 50, it becomes a great source of XP for when you don't want to run normal dungeons

Hello! I have a question regarding equipments.
Recently I leveled my PLD to 80 and since I wanted it to be BiS, I was farming for books/coffers (9S - 12S).

However, because I have a GNB level 80 and BiS equipped; whenever I tried opening a coffer (using PLD), it says that I cannot open something unique. (i.e. Rings / Hands).

My questions is - is there a way to have both GNB and PLD equipment even though items are unique?

Mounts FAQ

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

You can buy gear from the market NPCs of any city-state (gridania, ul’dah, limsa lominsa) but for level 15? I don’t think so. Just equip the closest gear to your level and you should be fine. Don’t buy from the market, lots of scammers over there selling lowbies 50k gold for a level 20ish piece
