Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. 'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up. Like the quoted post said from SE, it works for some, it doesnt work for others, 1 on 1 They say you can take that risk and if it doesnt work they will refund you but Steam flatout says no refunds. So if a steam code doesnt work for you, you are going to have to potentially fight 2 companies to figure out your refund.

Since they cant guarantee that it works they say in official posts dont mix and match because its less headache for them to deal with if the system doesnt allow it for that player

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Honestly BLM cuts a lot of abilities from their main rotation at 80.

as long as you read the toolstips and make sure you are managing your mana it really is fairly intuitive, and its more important that you're always outputting damage

In most cases unless dps is doing bad stuff. I just end up healing my tank and my aoe heals take care of my party.
