You only need a set amount of speed to get the required amount of gcds under buffs and inbetween buffs for alignment
More will throw off buff alignment in your overall rotation for no benefit

Apologies for the basic questions that a million folks before me have probably asked - I haven't even started the game but I'm already hitting a roadblock deciding how I should be choosing all the region and language stuff as an expat in Japan. Here is what I understand so far:
- Play the non-Steam trial before playing through Steam (something about, no going back once you've linked Steam?)
- When buying the game on Steam, you need to buy in the same region as your Square Enix account (I assume this means, my Steam marketplace?)
- This also determines how I get billed once I purchase the game, from what I understand? As in, I need Japanese payment info like a Japanese credit card?
- I can also select Language and Region when installing the trial - from googling around, I need to choose "Japan and Japanese" and then in-game I can change to English?
Does that all sound correct? Are there any other caveats I need to be aware of, or things I should do? My main concern is setting it up right so that when I return to the US, it's not going to get complicated. Sounds like from the character side I can do a simple world transfer, not so sure about the billing / buying expansions, etc

BRD Songs don't work on yourself, only everyone else. Old guides may say that crit increases proc rate but that's no longer true.
