i got to level 60 with my paladin very early on in HW, and switched to gunbreaker and really enjoy it. but now i can only seem to get decent xp with roulettes. are there any other ways for me to level either of my classes at 60 right now, or am i kinda soft capped due to the story?

daily roulettes are the biggest chunks. highest level dungeon that doesn't end in 0, Heaven on High once you get into SB

meaning you are very overleveled and don't have access to areas to amass a lot of exp (like fates)

I find that HW leves can be used to get quite a bit of money if you stored up 100 allowances and plan ahead on what item to use...
Sometimes you get turn ins for titanium nuggets and it gives you mythrite nuggets in stacks. Then you use that item to get more reward.

if you want optimal leve moneymaking, the meta is either dwarven mythril files or cookie biscuits

at the start, most of your money comes from MSQ quests :> just pick a class that appeals to you!

Early low level jobs don't make gil much from methods other than MSQ, you need to unlock content and features to gain access to more content which involves high level mechanics.

The firament for example for Diadem is good money and resource gathering, but you gotta beat HW

Any job will do since the game teaches you the rotation and mechanics bit by bit, but for the most optimal progression have a Tank, and then a Healer or DPS for duty matchmaking. Tanks and Healers are the most in demand.

easiest way to make gil is to unlock expert deliveries for GC and then cap out on seals and sell items bought with them

I don't know those because i didn't get that far, i mostly look up guides for npc items and figure out optimal strategies to get things.

People pay for HQ items to skip quests btw, so it can be worth some money to new subbed players maybe.

But free trial players can't use market board

Those items are useless to players too
